Pansy x FOYER Nature on a Plate Workshop
On 20 July, we welcomed 7 guests to continue our celebratory series of events for the launch of FOYER Issue 03: Nature & Culture, with a ceramic painting session themed around nature with Alina from Pansy, whose interview appears in FOYER Issue 03.
Taking place in Pansy in East Amsterdam, we explored nature and culture by painting a plate or bowl with nature motifs that mean something important to us. We saw a wonderful collection of nature motifs from exotic fruits such as durian, papaya and passionfruit, to tomatoes and olive branches, to the sea with fish, seashells and whales. Alina guided participants in how to apply the ceramic paints and how to bring our designs to life. Everyone created beautiful plates and ate slices of cake to fuel their creativity.
You can read Alina Tang's interview and her connection to nature in Issue 03.
