On 29 September, we welcomed 5 guests to continue our celebratory series of events for the launch of FOYER Issue 03: Nature & Culture, with a paper cosmos flower-making workshop in collaboration with Suvi Savola from Other Flora, who is also the cover star of the edition.

Taking place in an artists’ studio in central Amsterdam, we explored nature and culture through Suvi's life-like crepe paper cosmos flowers. Workshop participants mastered the essential skills for cutting and shaping petals, preparing the centre of a flower, and harmoniously assembling these elements into a stunning cosmos flower with a flexible wire stem. Everyone created beautiful, individual cosmos flowers with copious cups of tea and slices of cake to fuel their creativity.
